How To Pack For a Summer Holiday

If you’re anything like us here at AlibiOnline – chances are you’re probably already dreaming of a vacation or getaway over the summer period.

With Christmas and the holiday period almost here (yay!) it’s time to get prepared for what to pack on your holiday vacation or weekend getaway.

As a general rule – when you go on holidays less is always more so make sure you take only the clothes you really love to wear. A good way to do this is pack everything you want to take – then take half of it out. If in any doubt, leave it out. It will leave you more room to do some shopping while you’re away!

Another great rule to remember is that everything you take must work with everything else. If you plan on spending most of your time on the beach, pick your swimwear and work your other clothes around them. Whereas if you are going to a wedding or have a few cocktail events and dinner dates lined up, ensure you have enough versatile dressy skirts and tops you can mix up with the right jewellery and accessories.

There is nothing worse then unzipping your bag and realising that you have forgotten something at home. Fear not! Here is a simple list of things to pack to make sure that you have covered all the basics. This list is great for a week away, however, you should customise this list to match the length of your holiday.

What to pack:

Clothes:
